Individual Therapy

Therapy offers a place to slow down, gain perspective, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself. Together, we’ll explore the thoughts, emotions, experiences, and patterns that may be influencing how you see yourself, navigate challenges, and relate to others. Our work will be collaborative and tailored to your individual needs, with the goal of helping you feel more grounded, confident, and connected. Whether you’re navigating a specific challenge or simply feel that something needs to shift, therapy can provide an opportunity to gain clarity, develop new perspectives, and move forward with greater intention.

Therapy for Children

Children often communicate through play, creativity, movement, and behavior long before they have the words to express what they are experiencing. My work with children is developmentally informed, engaging, and tailored to each child’s personality, strengths, and needs.

Depending on the child, therapy may incorporate play and art, movement, mindfulness, behavioral strategies, and experiential activities. Parent involvement and support are also an important part of the process, helping caregivers better understand their child and feel more confident in responding to their needs. When appropriate, I may incorporate developmental assessments and activities outside of the traditional therapy setting. The goal is to create an environment where children feel comfortable being themselves while building emotional awareness, confidence, coping skills, and stronger relationships.

Therapy for Adolescents

Adolescence is a period of tremendous growth, change, and increasing independence. During these years, relationships with peers often become increasingly important, while parents may feel less central to their teen’s world. Having a trusted adult outside the family can provide an important space for adolescents to talk openly, feel understood, and make sense of what they are experiencing. I work collaboratively with teens to help them develop a stronger understanding of themselves, navigate relationships, build confidence, and find healthy ways to manage challenges. Therapy can also provide an opportunity for teens to develop their own voice, clarify their values, and make choices that feel authentic to who they are.

I support adolescents experiencing a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, family conflict, friendship and peer difficulties, school stress, social media concerns, risky behaviors, experimentation, shutting down, secrecy, and acting out.

Parent Coaching, Psychoeducation & Support

Parenting can be both deeply rewarding and incredibly challenging. Our own childhood experiences, expectations, and emotions inevitably influence how we parent, while our children’s individual personalities and needs require us to continually adapt.

Parent coaching provides a supportive space to better understand your child, reflect on your parenting approach, and develop practical strategies that are responsive to your child’s developmental stage and individual needs. We can also explore ways for caregivers to communicate and collaborate more effectively, creating greater consistency and confidence at home. The goal is not to become a perfect parent, but to become a more attuned, flexible, and confident one. At the heart of this work is helping families move beyond simply managing challenges and make more room to enjoy, appreciate, and celebrate their children.

Family Therapy

Families are complex systems, and when one person is struggling, the impact is often felt by everyone. Family therapy provides an opportunity to step back from familiar patterns and better understand what is happening within the family as a whole. Together, we’ll explore how each person’s experiences, emotions, needs, and behaviors influence one another. We’ll identify patterns that may be contributing to conflict or disconnection while also recognizing the strengths and resources already present within the family. The goal is to create greater understanding, improve communication, and develop healthier ways of relating. Family therapy can help each person feel heard and supported while creating a stronger sense of connection within the family.

Couples Therapy

Relationships can be a source of tremendous connection and fulfillment, but they can also become places of conflict, hurt, and disconnection. Couples therapy offers a supportive environment to slow down, understand one another more deeply, and address patterns that may be keeping partners from feeling close. Together, we’ll work to improve communication, navigate conflict more effectively, rebuild trust, and develop a stronger understanding of each other’s needs. Therapy can also provide support during significant transitions or difficult periods in a relationship. I work with couples around a range of concerns, including premarital counseling, communication difficulties, recurring conflict, parenting differences, intimacy, infidelity, trauma, and uncertainty about the future of the relationship. Whether you are hoping to strengthen an already solid relationship or find your way through a particularly challenging period, couples therapy can provide a space to reconnect and move forward together.
